Pay Rate: $19 Per Hour Plus Tip Part Time 15-20 Hours

Station: Coffee Bar

Barista 2 is a mid- level position at Honey Greens, this position works Coffee Bar and some register.

Requirements

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Food Handler's License
• Experience in Food Service
• Customer Service Skills
• Positive, Friendly Work Attitude
• Genuine interest in connecting with guests
• Fast
• Technical barista skills
• Knowledge in maintaining and servicing coffee/espresso equipment
• Proficient in milk steaming
• Able to make coffee not on menu to guest expectations
• Knowledge of traditional coffee recipes

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work around peak hours, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must retain a reasonably open availability, including weekends, and be willing to meet the current needs of the company.
• Willingness to work as part of a high-energy, efficient team in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive and professional attitude
• Customer service professional
• Not working at another coffee shop/tea shop/competitor business

Honey Greens Barista 2 Responsibilities:

• Dial in espresso
• Service espresso grinder
• Deep clean coffee bar at closing (espresso machine, grinder, etc)
• Greet customers warmly and provide a friendly and unique experience
• Prepare orders consistently and according to recipes, with correct technique
• Maintain highest level of quality, especially during rushes
• Maintain cleanliness at bar and stations and seating area, dishes
• Retain excellent knowledge of menu of our food, drinks, pastries, and specials
• Stay updated on current promotions, new menu items, and any changes in company policies, effectively communicating to customers as needed
• Operate equipment safely and and efficiently (espresso machine, grinders, toasters, etc)

Physical Demands:

• Able to reach, bend, and stoop
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to work 3 back to back shifts
