Upholsterer

Hours: Mon-Thurs 6a-4:30p, OT on Fridays

Pay: DOE

Location: Conover, NC

ProStaffing has partnered with a well-known furniture company conveniently located in Conover, NC! We are searching for a skilled Upholster to join our team. As an upholsterer, your primary responsibility is to repair and refurbish furniture by covering it with fabric or leather. You will work with various tools and materials to ensure that each piece meets high standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strip old upholstery from furniture, repair or replace damaged components, and reupholster with new materials.
• Accurately measure and cut fabric or leather to fit furniture pieces.
• Attach upholstery materials to furniture frames using staples, tacks, or adhesive, ensuring a smooth and secure finish.
• Inspect finished work for defects, ensuring that it meets quality standards and company specifications.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Prior experience in upholstery or a related field is required
• Ability to pay close attention to detail to ensure precise and high-quality work.
• Proficiency with upholstery tools and techniques.
