Qualifications

We’re looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRT (New Mexico licensure) required.
• American Registry Radiologic Technologists R.T. (MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist ARMRIT required.
• BLS Certification is required at the time of hire.

For Registered Technologist Trainees/Apprentices:

• PMRT (Provisional NM licensure) required.
• American Registry Radiologic Technologists R.T. (R) (ARRT) required.
• Successful completion of ARRT(MR) Boards within two years of hire.

Your Responsibilities

As an MRI Technician, you will:

• Instruct patients on MRI procedures and ensure proper positioning for imaging.
• Select appropriate imaging techniques and calibrate equipment as needed.
• Obtain images and maintain quality assurance on MRI equipment.
• Conduct physical inventories and manage clinical supplies.
• Provide guidance in MRI procedures to staff and students.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Engage in professional development through seminars and workshops.

Compensation: Maximum offer for this position is up to USD $47.83/Hr. Please note that compensation may vary based on experience, training, and organizational needs.
