Sub: About increasing population in India.
Sir,
Reference to the above mentioned subject I would like to draw your attention on/about increasing population in India. As you know India is a developing country. It has become the most populated country in the world. Wealth is not distributed properly among the people. The animals like dogs of the rich have high quality biscuits, butter and milk in their breakfast while the children of the poor are starving. Most of the people are not able to have even two meals a day after the hard work and labour .They have no house to live in, reasonably they do not have proper clothes to put on, they cannot provide a dose of medicine to their ill wife due to a large population. The population of our country has been increasing by leaps and bounds year by year. But unfortunately, there has been no corresponding increase in our national wealth/resources. This makes it completely clear that if immediate steps are not taken to curb the growth rate of our population, we shall have to face more widespread hunger, famines, diseases and so forth .
Let us take the problem seriously to see that our population should not be increased beyond the manageable proportion. A nation-wide, door to door and vigorous campaign should be launched with no loss of time in order to educate the masses in this direction. The mass media can also play a very prominent part in this regard by taking up this national issue on war-footing . While allotting quarters, flats or bungalows, advancing land to build houses and deciding cases for promotion, etc. the size of the family of the government servant concerned should be taken into consideration. If such remarkable measures are taken, it will surely help the nation to an extent which can safely be termed as substantial. In view of the urgency and the significance of this gigantic national problem.
I earnestly appeal to the citizens of our motherland to come forward and to render every possible assistance in the matter of curbing the perennial growth of our population in the larger interest of the country which is fortunately the largest democracy in the world.
I hope that you will do the needful to curb the growth rate of population by publishing the article in your prestigious newspaper and awaken the people in this concern.
