Subject – regarding the strike of bank employees on 20, 21 & 22 January.
Dear sir/ mam,
I would like to draw your kind attention towards the inconveniences caused due to the 3 day strike of bank employees. Many people and businesses suffered due to it. I also had some urgent work at the bank but it got delayed due to the strike and I faced a financial loss.
Since the bank employees have no repercussions to face , they tend to opt for a strike every now and then to get their demands fulfilled. And they even get paid during the time they don’t work from the taxpayers hard earned money. I believe Govt. Funds should not be spent on such non productive things. There’s a Govt policy regarding ‘No work No pay ‘. But it’s not being implemented properly. I would like to suggest here to ensure the implementation of the policy properly, so that this strike -culture can be discouraged for better delivery of services.
